Payment by result systems relate the pay or part of the pay received by individual workers or group of workers to the number of items produced
or the time taken to do a certain amount of work. The main schemes are:
- straight piecework;
- differential piecework system;
- measured day work;
- group incentive schemes;
- factory wide incentive schemes
